On April 11, 2023, Zheng Hua, Deputy Director and Level-Two Researcher of the Industrial Internet Division of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology (GDIIT), led a delegation to Yunfu KETE Machinery Co., Ltd. to conduct a special research visit focused on the digital transformation of the stone industry cluster.
The delegation included officials and experts from the GDIIT Industrial Internet Division and the Guangdong Industrial Internet Industry Alliance. The visit aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of the digital transformation needs, implementation paths, and existing challenges faced by stone manufacturing enterprises.
The research team was accompanied by Zhang Rongxin, Party Committee Member and Chief Economist of the Yunfu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Li Huiheng, Head of the Industrial Internet Section of the Yunfu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.
The delegation was received by Chen Siyang, President of the Yunfu Stone Industry Association and General Manager of KETE Machinery, who reported on relevant developments.
Showcasing Intelligent Innovation in Stone Machinery
During the visit, Mr. Chen Siyang guided the delegation on a tour of the KETE Machinery manufacturing facility, introducing the company’s product R&D capabilities, operational status, and long-term development plans.
With more than 20 years of deep expertise in the stone machinery industry, KETE Machinery holds 21 authorized patents and 8 software copyrights. The company’s independently developed solutions—including the Stone Scanning, Layout, and Cutting (3P) Intelligent Integrated Equipment, fully automatic intelligent continuous production lines, and five-axis CNC bridge saws—have received widespread recognition in the market.
KETE Machinery has also independently developed its intelligent after-sales service system, “KETE Care (Ketebao)”, which enables seamless interconnection with equipment and has successfully passed the acceptance of a provincial-level Industrial Internet Benchmark Demonstration Project. Internally, the company has implemented ERP and MES systems to achieve standardized and digitalized management. Guided by its mission to advance intelligent manufacturing in the stone industry, KETE Machinery continues to support the industry’s transformation and upgrading.

As the project implementation unit for the digital transformation of the stone industry cluster, KETE Machinery presented its self-developed digital platform “Yunshibao”, designed to support the digital upgrading of the stone industry. Mr. Chen Siyang introduced the implementation plan, key challenges, and overall progress of the stone industry cluster digital transformation project.
Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the overall strategy and implementation pathways for digital transformation, as well as future trends in interconnected and collaborative development within the stone industry.
