YUNFU – The 22nd Yunfu International Stone Tech Exhibition and Yunfu Stone Culture Week wrapped up on October 21, after a four-day run at the city’s International Stone Expo Center. Under the theme “Gather in the Stone Capital, Tech for Tomorrow,” the fair drew top players from across the stone sector, with more than 100 exhibitors and over 120,000 trade visitors.

A clear highlight was the booth of Kete Machinery, a high-tech firm and a government-recognized partner in smart manufacturing. Kete drew steady crowds with six new smart machines designed for the digital shift reshaping stone processing.
The star of the show was Kete’s five-axis CNC machine, which drew repeated praise for its speed and versatility. It handles everything from flat polygons to 3D sculpted forms, combining drilling and milling in one setup. It easily tackles complex cuts for sinks, reception desks, curved panels, architectural profiles, and display models. Running on Kete’s own control system, the machine reads CAD files directly, auto-nests parts, and grabs graphics automatically — making it user-friendly and a real workhorse for stone workshops.
In a new “always-open” format, this year’s expo will stay on display year-round. Kete’s equipment will remain in place, open for visits and orders anytime.
Though the event is over, Kete says innovation isn’t slowing down. The company aims to keep developing smarter, more efficient solutions to serve global customers and support Yunfu’s vision of building a “green, modern building materials cluster worth hundreds of billions.” The goal: help shape the next era of stone manufacturing.
