On May 31, 2023, Yunfu KETE Machinery Co., Ltd. and Yunfu Technician College successfully co-hosted the 16th training session on "Intelligent Equipment Operation and Maintenance." A total of 48 trainees from across the country participated in the program. Companies showed great enthusiasm in sending their staff, and the learning atmosphere was highly engaged, with positive feedback from all involved, making the event a complete success.
The event began with addresses by Chen Siyang, General Manager of Cutter Machinery, and Li Liqiang, Head of the Training Department at Yunfu Technician College. Both warmly welcomed the participants and shared insights on the development trends of intelligent manufacturing. They acknowledged the growing adoption of smart equipment across industries and encouraged the trainees to seize the learning opportunity and gain practical knowledge.
Following the opening remarks, theoretical training on the operation and maintenance of intelligent equipment was conducted, focusing on stone slab scanners, intelligent bridge cutters, and five-axis CNC machines. During the session, trainees interacted enthusiastically, actively participated in Q&A segments, and maintained a dynamic learning environment. A theoretical exam was held to assess comprehension, with two trainees achieving full marks and over 30% scoring above 90 points.
In the afternoon, the group moved to the finished product workshop of Cutter Machinery for hands-on training. The session began with instructions from practical trainers, followed by individual machine operation practice. Each trainee then underwent a random practical test. Despite the summer heat, all participants remained highly motivated. Even female operators handled the multi-ton machines with ease and confidence.
The day-long program concluded successfully in a cheerful atmosphere. All trainees passed the assessment and received completion certificates. Outstanding trainees, instructors, and teams were also awarded certificates of merit and prizes.
